На първото си заседание прокурорската колегия на Висшия съдебен съвет (ВСС) взе единодушно решение за създаването на три постоянни комисии – по професионална етика, по атестирането и конкурсите и по дисциплинарната дейност. Членовете на колегията бяха единни и в избирането на своя говорител – Румен Георгиев.
След като заседанието започна с пожелание за успешна работа от страна на председателстващия колегията Сотир Цацаров, бе взето решение за за фиксирането на ден и час провеждане на заседанията – в сряда от 13:30 часа. Също така кадровиците от прокурорската колегия решиха да предложат на колегите си от съдийската колегия заседанията на пленума да се състоят в четвъртък от 9:30 часа, както е било и досега.
Последва определянето на работна група за изготвяне на проект за правила за работата на колегията до 31 май, в която влязоха Елка Атанасова, Юлиана Колева и Незабравка Стоева. На днешното заседание кадровиците взеха решение и за създаването на три постоянни комисии, като членовете на две от тях бяха избрани с единодушен вот. В Комисията по професионална етика влязоха Ясен Тодоров, Румен Боев, Васил Петров, Юлиана Колева и Незабравка Стоева. След предложение от страна на Ясен Тодоров бе създадена Комисията по дисциплинарната дейност. Въпреки искането на Васил Петров за отлагане на определянето на състава и, за което той получи подкрепа само от Михаил Кожарев, беше определено, че в нея влязат Ясен Тодоров, Румен Георгиев, Васил Петров, Михаил Кожарев и Незабравка Стоева. Съставът на Комисията по атестирането и конкурсите (или КАК, както бе наречена за по-кратко от Цацаров) ще бъде определен след изготвянето и приемането на правилата за работа на колегията. Главният прокурор заяви обаче, че броят на постоянните комисии може да бъде променен “съобразно оперативната обстановка”.
Следващата организационна точка от дневния ред бе определянето на говорител на прокурорската колегия, което предизвика дебат сред кадровиците. Последва предложение от страна на Васил Петров говорител на комисията да бъде Незабравка Стоева, която, от своя страна, поиска решението да се отложи. След това тя поясни, че не желае да заема поста. Относно предложението за определяне на двама говорители Цацаров отсече, че няма колегията да създава медийна агенция. „След два отвода имаме предложение за говорител – Румен Георгиев”, заяви главният прокурор, след което последва единодушното му избиране за говорител на колегията.
